Clarks Direct "share a bed"" with Norfolk Homemakers
Norfolk based Transport and storage firm Clarks Direct have decided to "share a bed" amongst other things with Norfolk Homemakers.
Clarks Direct in conjunction with Bakers & Larners of Holt regularly delivery new furniture to homes across the country but part of the service involves removing any unwanted items are furniture including beds, mattresses, tables, 3 piece suits are more.
Clarks Direct MD Paul Clark and Bakers & Larners MD Michael Baker were keen to help local charities and the donation of furniture items was the perfect choice. "It seemed such a waste to dispose of all that furniture, some of which looked brand new, Norfolk Homemakers is such a good charity it makes sense to donate the furniture to them" said Paul Clark.
Norfolk Homemakers assistant manager Sue was thrilled when she received the call from Clarks Direct and said, "We are so pleased to receive these wonderful furniture items and very grateful that Clarks Direct thought of Norfolk Homemakers. We rely on donations and funding and it's great that local firms want to be involved".
